Upcoming Events

We are in contact with different promoters for festivals and district fairs happening at different times during the year. We are working on arrangements with local civic organizations for their widely attended annual events. Also, we have just finished a single CD, and you may be hearing it on your local radio stations before long.

About our group

Richard already has double layers of callouses on his fingertips and the layers are growing from all the guitar playing that he does. On the average, he practices his guitar picking and rhythm playing eight hours a day. If he has more energy left, he practices on his banjo. How is that for dedication and love for his music?

Dalisay is getting to be an expert in juggling her schedule to accommodate the things she needs to do. She spreads herself thin between school and homework, work, rehearsals, playing engagements, fiddle contests, and maybe an occasional social life. Lately, she has been writing song lyrics and composing the music that goes with the songs. She has two copyrights to her name so far, but there are at least half a dozen more in the process of being copyrighted. Sometimes she wishes she has a clone to delegate some of her responsibilities to, but for right now, she just has to accept the fact that she is one of a kind.

Ed, as usual, is the strong glue that holds the group together. He is the band manager who lines up the playing dates, negotiates the financial aspect, coordinates everybody’s schedule, helps make the set list, haul the sound equipment, and makes sure it is set up in ample time before they actually go on stage. He is also the band’s mandolin player and one of the singers. Sometime during his busy schedule, he manages to find time to write songs, learn new songs, and make business contacts for prospective playing engagements.
